New for 2012 are black high-modulus aramid structural yarn and smoke gray films, producing a striking high-tech appearance. In addition, all Performance Series 3DL scrims are now bonded to films before lamination for enhanced laminate stability.
Performance Series 3DL 600 sails are available in two styles…
• Performance 3DL 600 features 100% high-modulus black aramid structural yarn.
• Performance 3DL 680 features a blend of high-modulus black aramid yarn and North Flex-Balanced™ Carbon yarn for additional shapeholding power.
Both 3DL 600 and 680 sails can also be ordered with either an additional internal scrim or single-sided white North TF™ taffeta for improved toughness.
